  8. SAN DIEGO, CA JUNE 26, 1991:  Low cost floating point for the LC and IIsi.  The
  9. LCFP from Quantum Leap Systems is a floating point co-processor board for the
  10. Macintosh LC. The LCFP measures approximately 2.25 x 4.5 inches and contains
  11. either a Motorola 68881 or 68882 math co-processor. The '881 runs at either 16
  12. or 20 MHz, the '882 runs at 16, 20 or 25 MHz.  The LCFP attaches to the Mac's
  13. Processor Direct Slot (PDS) and uses the Mac's main memory.  The LCFP has no
  14. RAM of its own.  The LCFP is user instalable, no software INITs or CDEV's are
  15. required.  Simply plug in the board and boot the machine. Applications which
  16. require floating point will automatically take advantage of the LCFP.
